Close Up is dedicated to empowering young people for a lifetime of active, informed citizenship through civic education programs, professional development for educators, and specialized curriculum and classroom resources that help students develop their civic mindset. Our work is enriched through strategic partnerships that provide critical insights and resources, and expand civic education opportunities to students and teachers from all backgrounds. 

Partnership Highlight – NNSP

Partners since 2020, Close Up’s work with the National Network of Schools in Partnership (NNSP) brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to civics and community engagement. Since piloting our first partnership program, Close Up and NNSP have worked to reach students and teachers nationwide through a variety of Impact programming. Looking ahead, Close Up and NNSP will continue to collaborate closely on developing and delivering student programs, curriculum, and PD for educators, honoring the missions of both organizations.
