For more than 30 years, Close Up has partnered with American Indian tribes to offer programs that focus on the issues affecting Indian Country.

Discuss and participate in Native American current events!

Close Up has longstanding partnerships with the United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) and the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), as well as a history of developing programs for native and non-native students alike. These Native American youth programs include:  

  • USET Impact Week Youth Summit: Through interactions with fellow USET youth, tribal leaders, and delegates, students enhance their understanding of the relationship between tribal nations and the U.S. government, and the role of USET in Native American advocacy.
